In this story, a lonely American university student visits the English countryside, where he is invited to spend Christmas in the the home of a classmate. Here, in a little cottage near the River Wye, he gains a new perspective on the ancient holiday and experiences a Christmas unlike any other.

Written by Austin Sailsbury and produced and edited by Lars Hauschildt, this story is fiction, but is inspired by real events that happened many years ago. A version of this story originally appeared in Kinfolk Magazine.
